We recommend using the Hard Reset and Factory Reset to restore your device to its original settings.
The Pro Sports S2 has both a hard and factory reset. The factory reset is within the menu of the unit and resets all software settings back to the factory settings.
The hard reset is for when you are unable to access the menu of the unit or if there is any issue with hardware such as the screen. To perform a hard reset, using the included tool, press into the rear of the unit into the connection marked “Headphone” and “Reset” – then hold until the screen goes off or for 5 seconds then release the tool. The unit will restart having performed the hard reset.
The purpose of the lock switch is to prevent the unit from being operated inadvertently whilst being carried in a pocket for example. It means that if you are listening to a particular station at a particular volume you can lock the radio and these settings will not be changed accidently.
In the menu of your Pro Sports S2 you can set the time and date manually or you can choose to have the time/date to automatically update from either FM, Dab or Both – each time the radio receives a signal from a compatible radio station it will automatically update the time and date information.
Press the Menu button and enter “Favourites” and then “Preset Store”. Use the ‘Channel +/-’ buttons to choose a number for the preset and press Enter to store.
Press the Menu button and enter “Favourites” and then “Preset Recall”. Use the ‘Channel +/-’ buttons to choose which preset you would like and press Enter to recall it.
